Video Acquisition

Sony FX1000E HDV MiniDV 3 clearvid CMOS censor cameras - superb picture quality even in low light situations such as a church for example. High Definition, broadcast quality cameras with an unparalleled level of manual control in this level of camera. With an excellent optical zoom capability we can operate from as far away as possible being as discreet as we can possibly be.

Sony HDR-SR5E HDD HD CMOS Cameras - These are small, lightweight, full HD, fully automatic cameras that record directly to hard drive making them versatile and perfect for discreet unmanned filming.

Audio Acquisition

Shure Condenser Lavalier Microphones connected to wireless body pack transmitters. The receiver connects directly to one of the cameras and the sound is monitored with headphones.

Roland - Edirol R09HR solid state high resolution voice recorder - used mainly for ambient sound and is a fantastic backup audio device.

Other Equipment

For unmanned cameras we try to be as discreet as possible using custom built clamps that can attach to window frames, light shades, bannisters, cars, carriages, mantle peices and even to Christmas trees!

For operater controlled camera work we use rigid video tripods with fluid video heads or shoulder mounts in certain circumstances.

Editing

Done on a computer running 4 CPUs at 9.6Ghz (told you it was geeky!), 4GB of RAM, 2 Terrabytes of internal storage, 2 Terrabytes of external fault tollerant (RAID) storage.

An array of DVD burners and a Blu-Ray facility.

The latest up to date specialist non linear editing software and professional DVD authoring software.

A dedicated disc printer for printing high resolution images on to discs.
